Lendlease Australian Supplier Innovation Award Winner 2022

Grasshopper Environmental was delighted to accept the Lendlease Australian Supplier Innovation Award 2022 at an event held earlier this month. This Award recognises Grasshopper’s commitment to delivering genuine and tangible outcomes for the local Aboriginal communities and the environment, through its joint venture partnership with Bungarribee Connection.
Australian based Lendlease employees were asked to nominate suppliers that they’ve worked with over the last 12 months that have demonstrated outstanding work across five award categories – Safety, Innovation, Sustainability, Digital and First Nations. The nominations were then reviewed and assessed on a score based system by an internal Lendlease employee judging panel.
Grasshopper Environmental was awarded with the Lendlease Australian Supplier Innovation Award 2022. This was based on Grasshopper’s joint venture (JV) partnership with Bungarribee Connection, which demonstrates the company’s commitment to delivering genuine and tangible outcomes for local Aboriginal communities and the environment.
The Grasshopper Environmental Bungarribee Connection JV is run by local Aboriginal people for local Aboriginal people. It engages industry leaders in construction that have a strong emphasis on sustainability and the circular economy, in order to deliver industry leading sustainable outcomes for waste as well as advancement, empowerment, and opportunity for Indigenous communities.
Katie Bounds, Key Account Manager and Elise Martin, Business Development Manager, at Grasshopper Environmental (pictured left to right) attended the Lendlease Australian Supplier Awards event earlier this month to accept the award. Bounds said;
