Grasshopper demonstrates its compliance and commitment to best practice waste management

Following a rigorous auditing process, Grasshopper Environmental has successfully recertified for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. This provides stakeholders with the on-going assurity of Grasshopper’s compliance and commitment to best practice in the delivery of its sustainable and ethical waste management, resource recovery and recycling services.


Grasshopper Environmental – a division of Cleanaway Waste Management Ltd – has been ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certified since 2019. These internationally recognised standards respectively set out best practice processes, policies and procedures in a; Quality Management System, Environmental Management System and Occupational Health & Safety Management System.

The company recently underwent a three-year recertification audit. Conducted by Best Practice, the audit confirmed that the Grasshopper Environmental Integrated Management System (IMS) continues to meet the requirements of the certified standards; ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2018 and ISO 45001:2018.
